NYG&B Members enjoy online, remote access to the NYG&B’s growing collection of digitized resources, which include:

  • All issues of The New York Genealogical & Biographical Society Record, which comprises the largest single collection of published material on families that lived in New York State, as well as access to updated versions of Jean Worden’s indexes to The Record
  • The full run of the New York Researcher, along with a comprehensive table of contents and surname index
  • Early American Newspapers Series I, with 350,000 fully searchable issues from over 710 newspapers published from 1690-1876
  • Searchable cemetery transcriptions and religious records that are unique to the NYG&B Society
  • Special collections, such as the 1855 New York State Census for Manhattan’s 17th Ward; the American Bible Society Collection; and Biographical sketches of NYG&B members from the first half of the 20th century plus, more exceptional material that is being added
