Finding Family Genealogy Series at NARA NYC

Due to inclement weather, the Finding Family program scheduled for December 10th was cancelled. The topic, Using NARA’s Online Resources, is rescheduled for Tuesday, March 11th, as the first workshop offered in the Spring Finding Family Genealogy Series offered by the National Archives at New York City.

Join staff for an overview of National Archives research tools at archives.gov and ways to search online for archival holdings, including the Online Public Access Catalog and Access to Archival Databases.

The Finding Family Genealogy Series is offered every Spring (March through June) and Fall (September through December) on the second Tuesday of the Month. The series of workshops are free and open to all interested in learning about genealogical research using records from the National Archives. All workshops are Noon to 1:00pm. Feel free to bring your lunch.

This workshop takes place in the 3rd floor Learning Center. Space is limited, so registration is recommended at newyork.archives@nara.gov
