Finding Family Genealogy Series: Using NARA’s Online Resources

Staff will provide an overview of National Archives research tools at archives.gov and ways to search online for archival holdings, including the Online Public Access Catalog, the Archival Research Catalog, and Access to Archival Databases.

The series of workshops are free and open to all interested in learning about genealogical research using records from the National Archives.  All workshops are Noon to 1:00pm.  Feel free to bring your lunch.
 
Registration: The public should register via newyork.archives@nara.gov or 866-840-1752 to reserve a space.
 
Cost: All programs are free and open to the public
 
Location: All programs will be held in the Learning Center, on the 3rd floor of the Alexander Hamilton U.S. Custom House at One Bowling Green, NY, NY.
 
Time: Programs run from Noon to 1:00pm.
