Sam Roberts of The New York Times looks back at Grand Central's conception, amazing history, and the far-reaching cultural effects of the station that continues to amaze tourists and shuttle busy commuters. Roberts will include quirky anecdotes and behind-the-scenes information about the station, as well as stories about famous movies that have used Grand Central as a location, the celestial ceiling, and homeless denizens who reside in the building's catacombs.

A book signing will follow. Books are available for purchase at the Museum Gift Shop after the lecture.
