Finding Family at the National Archives: Spring programming

 On Tuesday, March 12th at 12:00 - 1:00 p.m., NARA will present the program: Introduction to Census Records.  Staff will discuss the variety of census records from 1790-1940 and the main ways in how to search them. The National Archives at New York City has moved into its new headquarters in the beautiful Alexander Hamilton U.S. Custom House at One Bowling Green, in lower Manhattan. The Archives officially opened to the public on Monday, February 4th, and its hours are Monday-Friday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and the first Saturday of the month from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. for microfilm and computer research.
