Printer-friendly versionPrinter-friendly version

This class will show you how to research the history of your building and the people who owned and lived in it. The Milstein Division is home to one of the largest free United States history, local history and genealogy collections in the country. Looking at censuses, city directories, land conveyances, maps, photographs, newspapers, and local histories available at the New York Public Library, and at other New York City institutions, you will learn how to construct a narrative history of your home or building.

Registration is required. You can register online at http://www.nypl.org/locations/tid/36/node/229828
