Learn About the Heraldry of American Presidents

Take a break from the frenzy of election year politics and hear about the heraldry of American presidents - both hereditary arms of early U.S. presidents and also more recently granted arms. Joseph McMillan will discuss the topic on Monday, September 17th at the NYG&B's headquarters on West 44th St., followed by traditional refreshments sponsored by the Heraldry Committee of the NYG&B (John Shannon, chairman). Mr. McMillan is Director of Research at the American Heraldry Society in Washington, DC (www.americanheraldry.org). A career civil servant will over 28 years of service in the Department of Defense, he is a series research fellow at the Institute of National Strategic Studies.
