Resources for Locating Caribbean Ancestors in New York City

A large percentage of African-Americans now living in New York City can trace their ancestry back to the Caribbean. Discover the resources available to trace your family back from the Big Apple to many of the 7000+ islands that make up this ethnically and culturally diverse archipelago. 

Andrea Ramsey is a longtime member of the NYG&B and a member of the Jean Sampson Scott Chapter of the Afro-American Historical and Genealogical Society of Greater New York. She is a frequent lecturer on Afro-American research relating to the history and culture in the Anglophone Caribbean. 

This lecture is free and no registration is required.
