On Saturday, October 13, the Archivists Round Table of Metropolitan New York, Inc. in partnership with the National Archives at New York City will hold the third annual K-12 Archives Education Institute. The event will be hosted by the National Archives at their upcoming home, the Alexander Hamilton U.S. Custom House. The program is intended to bring together educators and archivists to discuss strategies for teaching primary source materials in the classroom. This year's theme is transportation and its pivotal role in metropolitan New York. This is a free program with enrollment open to all K-12 teachers and area archivists working in metropolitan New York.
