John Edens, Forest Lawn’s Special Initiatives Director, will present an insider’s look at the Margaret L. Wendt Archive & Resource Center. Tentatively scheduled to open in the summer of 2014 on Main Street, this 3,140-square-foot archival “center of excellence” will protect, conserve and make publicly accessible more than 1.2 million historical and genealogical documents. Join us for this free members-only program as we learn about the center’s plans, the progress to date, and the exciting future ahead.
Additionally, Forest Lawn will be offering WNYGS members the opportunity to sign-up for an optional 1½ hour history trolley tour that will immediately follow the presentation. The price is $12 and seating is limited.
Advance registration for these programs is required. This program is only for members of the Western New York Genealogical Society
