Description: Is someone able to tell me what information I would be likely to find on a NY death certificate from 1913, in particular whether a woman's maiden name was routinely included and place of birth (in more detail than just the country, Ireland). Thankyou.

Title: Death certificates in NY
Description: Different counties in NY State used different forms for death certificates. A woman's maiden name was NOT usually specified. The names of the parents of the deceased were supposed to be included on most forms. Most forms requested place of birth as either state (if USA) or country - one I have from 1946 requested town & state but only "USA" was filled in! You could say there is no "routine" answer....
