Amend

The following inquiry was posted to the Genealogical Exchange on our old website on March 23, 2017 by Liane Sebastian:

AMEND-SCHNEIDER. Seeking information on the biography or profession of Johann Georg Amend 1802-1865 from Hesse, Germany. He married 1829 in Heuchelheim, to Katharina Elisabeth Schneider 1799-1883. They immigrated about 1839 to Verona, Oneida, New York with two children, Jacob 1832-1872 and John Philip 1835-1903. Then they had two more children in Oneida, Martha 1839 and George 1841.
