Tompkins County / Sincebaughs

Just finished a new book: "Book of Solomon: The Sincebaughs of Tompkins County, New York" traces the descendants of Solomon and Catharine (Deyo) Sincebaugh. Solomon, born in 1784 in Ulster County, New York, was the grandson of Sensebach immigrants who arrived from the Wied region of Germany. By 1830 he settled near Ithaca in Tompkins County, New York. This book traces four generations of Solomon’s descendants. In addition to the Sincebaughs, other families include Armstrong, Barber, Beach, Burling, Cleveland, Case, Cornish, Downie, Ellison, Howard, Linderman, McFall, Mente, Norton, Oltz, Ostrander, Stark, Van Dusen and Wright.
