Since 1975 valuable material relating to the history and genealogy of Suffolk County, Long Island, has been appearing in the Suffolk County Historical Society Register (SCHSR). Given below are lists of articles through volume 25, no. 1 of SCHSR, on families and sources. All articles relate to Suffolk County except for some church records of itinerant ministers which include locales elsewhere in New York State (these have been italicized). There is a chronological listing of articles for volumes 1-18 in volume 18, no. 4. Note that volume 12, number 2, is a special commemorative issue and its pagination (1-56) is separate from the pagination sequence for numbers 1, 3, and 4 of that volume. Some articles on particular subjects have been included under Sources below. However, most articles on local history and general genealogical research have been omitted below.
