Call for Presentations

2022 New York State Family History Conference:
Getting Back to New York

The New York Genealogical and Biographical Society (NYG&B) welcomes proposals for the 2022 New York State Family History Conference (NYSFHC), 8–10 September 2022. Those interested may also submit proposals for the NYG&B’s ongoing webinar series.

The NYG&B is specifically seeking lectures and webinars on New York records and repository research, methodology, BIPOC New Yorkers, New York case studies, writing and publishing, biographies, and the use of DNA in genealogy. Presentations on other topics will be considered. Examples in presentations are encouraged to have connections to New York.

Length of presentations may be 50 minutes, plus 10 minutes for questions, or longer or shorter for conference on-demand sessions or webinars. A “short bite” on topics will be considered, especially in the webinar series.

NYSFHC 2022 will feature an exciting combination of in-person and online events in September and October 2022.
