NYSFHC at a Glance
Conference Times and Dates
The 2022 New York State Family History Conference begins Thursday, September 8 at 11:00 am ET and concludes Saturday, September 10 at 4:30 pm ET. Those participating with the NYSFHC @ Home pass will have access to selected live broadcasts from events in Albany and have full access to on-demand sessions beginning Monday, September 12, and concluding Monday, October 17.
Session Times and Schedule
The opening session will begin at 11:30 am ET on Thursday, September 8. In addition to other important details, the session will feature Dr. Benjamin L. Carp’s keynote address. Individual sessions will begin at 1:15 pm, with three concurrent presentations each time slot.
Meals/Lunches
Each day’s lunch break will include some activities. Lunch is on your own (orders for box lunches closed on August 16, 2022).
Hotel/Travel
The Albany Hilton is located in downtown Albany on State St and Lodge St, just off New York State Route 32. Parking is available at the Hilton for $15 per day. The hotel block for conference participants is now closed.
If you are arriving by bus, the Albany Bus Terminal is just half a mile from the Hilton and a short car ride. By train, travel to the Albany/Rensselaer station.
For those flying to New York, Albany International Airport is located 15 minutes away from the Hilton by car and 45 minutes away by train.
