New York City’s Municipal Archives has made the publicly available records of birth, marriage, and death mostly accessible online. The NYG&B’s Susan R. Miller will show efficient techniques for finding and accessing records. It will also review which records are not yet online and the procedure for obtaining them.

New York state vital records and those held at other New York City agencies will be discussed briefly.
