Having released more than 400 titles, Kinship Books is the largest publisher of transcribed New York records and has been in continuous operation since 1965. In addition to genealogical records, the imprint has also released regional histories and abstracts. Kinship Books was founded by Arthur C.M. Kelly, FGBS; as of 2019, releases have been under the care of the NYG&B.
