About the presenter
Holly Sammons, MLS, has worked as a genealogy librarian at the Onondaga Public Library for over ten years, the last eight as head of that collection. Holly has spent her career there helping many genealogists with their research. She spearheaded several major projects at the library and worked vigorously to make this rich genealogy collection more accessible to the public.
Holly has lectured on genealogy locally and at several library and genealogy conferences. She's an avid genealogist and just completed the Boston University Genealogical Research Certificate Program. Holly is a member of several genealogical organizations and the current vice president of the Central New York Genealogical Society.
