George Corey / Catherine Burgess of Onondaga County, NY

Looking for information on George Corey (circa 1765 - 1813) married to Catherine (probably Burgess) (circa 1778 - 1832). First confirmed in Salina Twp, Onondaga Co, NY 1798 - 1813. Thought to have died in one of the battles at Sackets Harbor, probably the main one in 1813. Son John Corey md Eve Britten; daughter Polly Corey md Tobias Goodfellow. Each of the main immigrant Corey lines was present in Onondaga County and George has no definitive ties to any of them. He was a Captain of militia from 1802 through at least 1809.

Suydam - Stout connection

My ancestor, Adelaide Stout, married a Mr Suydam some time after 1800, probably closer to 1810. The family story says Mr. Suydam was the partner of Andrew Varick Stout, born 1812 (brother of Adelaide), who named his third son, my direct ancestor, Joseph Suydam Stout (born 1846) after Mr. Suydam. But I have not been able to confirm the story of partnership, or discovered the first name of Mr Suydam.

Jonathan HORTON

I am looking to try to find the NY family connection of my ancestor, Jonathan HORTON, b. possibly 1754, Westchester County (although so far, I can find no such record), d. 19 Sep 1840, Yarmouth County, Nova Scotia, Canada. He evacuated from NY at the end of the Revolutionary War, to Nova Scotia, supposedly widowed, accompanied by his young son, Israel Horton. (First wife was reported to be a Sarah Goldsmith from Blooming Grove, Orange County, NY, supposedly married 1778. Also had a child, Gabriel HORTON, b. 1781, d. 1781).

Westchester / Jamaica Church?

Have a John Garrison buried in 1711 in the Jamaica Queens churchyard. Would that have been a church someone from Westchester / Eastchester might have crossed the water to attend? There was also a Susannah Garrison married there in 1710 - don't believe she was related to Abraham Garrison of Gravesend - anyone familiar with that line?
